Take the green path with this £24.99 waterproof solar-powered flashlight. Meant for those who love to rough it out in the great outdoors, this waterproof device comes with a solar panel at the side that soaks up the sun's energy while basking during the day so that your evenings and night won't be a blind affair. Under bright, direct sunlight, this flashlight charges pretty quickly. You can use the white light at one end of flashing red LEDs on the other for emergency purposes. Alternatively, you can operate both simultnaneously. You can use standard AA batteries if it runs out of renewable energy. The only drawback would be the lack of an energy reserve indicator.
